Home and Family

Eve Wingerath is the fundraising Manager at home and Family. Originally from the UK, she has a background in education, grants assessing and volunteer management.

The Vision of Home & Family/Te Whare Maanaki Tangata is:

All children will live in homes with whanau/family who cherish them, keep them safe and nurture potential

The charity has been in Christchurch for over 120 years. Originally known as 'The Society for the Protection of Women and Children' it has consistenty adapted to meet the needs of the community, while working closelywith children and families affected by family violence and poverty.
