Test Bulletin

Hello Clubmates,

What a special time we had last Friday morning hearing form two of our three RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) candidates - Olivia Rose and Asher Scully. We had a great summary of the benefit of RYLA to young adults aiming to make their way in the world. Olivia covered the more high level overview while Asher provided the detailed breakdown of the course. A massive credit to both of them and we are very proud of you both.

A brief summary of the course can be found here - https://vimeo.com/252842997?fl=pl&fe=cm
If you or anyone you know would be interested, please let us know as we are already seeking interested applicants for 2027.

We were very interested to hear from Brad about his work with the Cobham Village Trust. It is incredible all the work that goes behind the scenes to assist the community - in this case with housing for those later in life who are unable to find suitable long-term accommodation.

Thank you also to Max Mitchell for attending the meeting, was wonderful that you could join us.

We also have our directors meeting this evening, so we will report back initial points on Friday.
This Friday we have our very own Maureen Poulter speaking on Ferndale School. I hope you can join us - visitors especially welcome. I know we have a few away for various reasons so to all club members travelling, stay safe and for those away for other reasons, stay well!
