Christchurch Resettlement Services

CRS helps women and men from refugee and migrant backgrounds resettle successfully in Christchurch. This is through Social Work, Community Work, Counselling, Health Promotion, and CRS also works with the Canterbury Children’s Team.

As the new funding and communications coordinator at CRS I’m tasked with A: Raising the profile of CRS .. so more people know about the work CRS is doing in the community,  and also to raise much needed funds to cover the un-met costs of providing all those services.

The CRS bilingual community workers and social work team have some inspiring stories to tell about what life is like for new arrivals to the city, and being able to answer queries about migrants or refugees in the region could be tremendously beneficial to any group we speak to.

Obviously securing some level of financial support for CRS from individuals or groups is key to ensuring this vital work can continue.
