Thanks to the support of Rotary Neighbourhood Project,
Rotary clubs Christchurch Sunrise and Bishopdale Burnside and Canterbury University volunteers a productive day of tree planting was done on a beautiful sunny August day.

Great communication got the message out to many of the Christchurch Rotary clubs and University student with interest shown from many. Other commitments meant numbers were down but all allocated trees were planted in time for exploring of the island.
Hopefully this year’s success will encourage more to join the fun and satisfaction on next year’s planting day.
